This is the place to be if you’re looking for a lively nightlife. This is the hub of Phuket shopping, fine restaurants, exciting bar scene & throbbing nightlife. Exotic & wild what Patong beach is. The quieter clientele, north of Patong beach, Kamala Beach. The resort is well developed, but there is no large & luxury hotels nearby. Housing is more in the form of low-budget ad huts along the beach bungalows. The area is perfect for travellers who are on a budget & of course the tireless backpackers. Kata Beach isn’t as great as the Patong area-wise but the beach is teeming with various international & local restaurants, bars & clubs. Is, however, the atmosphere here more family-oriented, & it has none of the noisy, boisterous crowd of Patong. Karon Beach on the western coast of Phuket.
