Thai Villa 4238 is a delightful beach house with 4+2 bedrooms, private pool and sitting directly on the sand with amazing views across the bay to Patong and west coast sunsets across the beach.

It is the only true beachfront Villa with a pool in Patong Bay that is fully staffed with a resident Chef and maids.

The Villa itself was one of the very first private homes in Phuket, well before any roads criss-crossed the island. It has been extended and improved on over the years to the point it is more a comfortable beach house than a purpose built, grand Villa. The Villa has 4 main bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, one which is as close to the sand as you can get and has magnificent sea views and the sounds of the waves lapping at the shore, the other has a small private lounge with flat-screen TV and an extra sofa bed - ideal for young children that need supervision. The other 2 bedrooms are on the lower floor, both with ensuite bathrooms. There is a 5th bedroom with very comfortable sofa bed and a 6th bedroom that is a small single room, and whilst perfectly comfortable, it is more suited for children.

The Villa also comes with a private, fully equipped business center, setup with meeting room, computer, A3 printers, copiers and 2Mbit Wi-Fi which extends throughout the Villa. The business centre has amazing views over the water and has both an external and internal entrance.

A large plasma TV, satellite channels and DVD player in the lounge are provided. A private 18 meter pool with Jacuzzi and plenty of outdoor seating areas provide lots of outdoor options, including a 10-seat outdoor teak table under a wonderful Thai sala where you can enjoy meals any time of the day, or cocktails as the sun goes down.

The beach gives so much more than any pool or ocean view Villa. Around high tide, the water is swimmable and offers good snorkeling right off the beach, or further out on the reef. At lower tide, the rocky beach is great for reef walking (bring your old sports shoes) and exploring and on the right tides and winds, the reef offers some of the best surfing in Phuket (low season only). Fishing from directly out on the large rock out front of the Villa at high tide, or enjoy the 2 sea canoes to explore the outer reef or play in the waves. The beach is not perfect for swimming at all tides, but it is 2 minutes walk along the sand to a better beach or 5 minutes by van to Patong Beach. The sand is clean and safe and at medium and low tides is a safe environment for kids and beach games.No jet skis, no beach sellers, no tourists and no hassles on this stretch of sand that is as private as a beach can be in Phuket.

Location

The Villa is about 40 minutes from the airport and located just north of Patong (about 5 minutes by vehicle). Some of the better beaches of Laem Singh or Surin are about 15 minutes by van. Villa 4238 is probably the best located Villa in Phuket - directly on the beach, close to Patong, yet private and quiet, with excellent staff and service, and reasonably priced.

Staffed by an outstanding Thai and Western Chef and live-in Thai maids who have their own staff quarters, the Villa offers delightful food options charged only at fresh market prices and prepared at no cost. Bottled water and preferred soft drinks are provided at no charge. The Villa also comes with a Private Villa Manager who speaks English and is there to handle anything you might need during your stay - and nothing is too big or small.
